Carlisle Solicitors, in association with Tracey Solicitors LLP, were proud to host a bake sale at their premises on Wednesday 10th April 2024, and raised much needed funds for The Alzheimer Society of Ireland.
The bake sale was organised by Jack Farrell, Legal Executive with Carlisle Solicitors. The charity is close to heart for Jack, as well as other members of staff who have had family members living with dementia. Jack is passionate about supporting the charity to help them in the vital work they do in communities and for people living with dementia.
The bake sale was a resounding success on all fronts, with our volunteer bakers producing an impressive array of cakes, cookies, muffins and treats for staff to tuck into.
Carlisle Solicitors matched every staff donation, and we are delighted to announce that the bake sale raised €1,700.00 for the charity.
Jack said of the bake sale “it was a great privilege to organise this event with the Alzheimer Society of Ireland and Carlisle Solicitors. I have seen first-hand the amazing work that the Alzheimer Society of Ireland do in helping people living with dementia and their families.
The Alzheimer Society of Ireland supported my grandfather, James Molloy, throughout his journey with dementia. My grandfather would have approved the bake sale, as he was known to have a sweet tooth.”
